I didn’t connect that Diplomatic Workforce = DW = Dish Washer until just now! (I first read this story in the 1980s)
It’s definitely an odd one, I feel like they must have worked backwards from wanting to call him “Dish-Washer” because “Diplomatic Workforce” seems over written to me!
